Hi Celeste, alas we can’t recommend giving it to children as there is no scientific evidence on efficacy, but if it was my child I would give him a half dose. You can also consult other parents in our Facebook community.

Hi Fiona, I stopped taking the birth control pill after 9 years. I suffer from bad skin, especially around the mouth and chin. I try to get back my hormonal balance now for almost 2 years. Can you recommend anything? I would be super grateful!

Hi Fiona, thanks for your message. Maca is renown for its ability to balance hormones,it has been shown to lower cortisol levels that often create hormonal imbalances in all of our sex hormones, estrogen, progesterone, testosterone and DHEA too. As an added bonus Maca contains high amounts of Vitamin C, that fight free radicals and increase collagen production. Thanks Angela Nutritionist at Forest Superfoods xx

Hi, I couldn’t decide what to get so I got Supergreens, Camu camu, moringa & sample size Women’s Wellness warrior pack. Would I take ALL of them daily, or just at least ONE of them daily? I am confused! What differences should I expect, I have only been choosing one a day in smoothie..I have not noticed anything yet, only been a couple of weeks..

    • Justin Snyder says:

Hi Mary, thanks so much for your question. They are all wholefoods- so its fine to take daily. All of our superfoods have been found scientifically found to improve overall wellbeing. The Camu Camu is the highest source of Vitamin C in the world and its great for improving immunity, the Naked Greens are amazing for energy, detoxing and are really nutrient dense, full of chlorphyll. The Moringa is known as the tree of Life with over 96 identified nutrients. Enjoy 🙂

Hi Fiona, thanks so much for your question. Firstly best to avoid stimulants foods such as coffee, alcohol and chocolate and spicy foods, especially at night – they’re notorious for sparking these issues. in terms of superfoods, over 5 studies have found that black Maca can alleviate menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes and interrupted sleep. Start with one teaspoon a day. Let us know how you go . Thanks Angela

Hi Dave, thanks for your message. There has been some research done into Lion’s Mane Mushrooms and the ability to treat and prevent Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease (1). (I’ve put the link to the study below). We know that Lion’s Mane Mushrooms help repair repair nerve damage as well as having a strong anti-inflammatory effect, high in antioxidants and immune-boosting abilities.
Other researchers have also found that through daily consumption of lion’s mane mushroom extract for 16 weeks participants in a study had higher scores on cognitive function scales compared with a placebo group. This ability decreased once the mushrooms were no longer ingested. (2)
Another superfood i’d be suggesting would be our Camu Camu, its the highest source of Vitamin C, and researchers have found that through ingestion of Camu Camu symptoms of Parkinsons are lessened. (3)
So I’d be suggesting you start enjoying the Lion’s Mane Mushrooms and the Camu Camu.

      Thanks Angela

Hi Graeme, The naked greens are a great choice, as it contains Chlorella and scientists have recently found that by ingesting Chlorella on a regular basis, that the body could absorb B-12 from chlorella effectively. We also have it to purchase as a stand alone product. Find the research below.
      Thanks Angela

      Hi Gina32,

A number of the ingredients in Naked Greens are actually considered to be beneficial in combatting acid reflux.
It’s highly unlikely that they would contribute to acid reflux.

If you do find it impacts your acid reflux I’d suggest taking them before eating and then try after eating and see if there is any difference.

Apple cider vinegar combined with water can also be a good addition to your daily regime.
