If you have the space for them, cows are an amazing addition to the home garden ecosystem. There manure is incredibly high in nutrients and organic matter whilst having virtually no weed seeds.
I put their manure fresh onto beds I don’t plan to plant in for a while. I add it to my compost. I sprinkle it on my grass. There is so much of it and it is so useful as an input in your garden.
What’s more the cows keep the grass down!
