Healthy Super Food Granola Recipe

This is a super simple delicious super food granola to make that everyone will love. You can tailor it to your tastes and in cute jars the granola makes a great gift for someone.

It’s high in plant-based protein and healthy fats, which will help keep you satisfied all morning. 

Ingredients:

4 cups organic rolled oats (not quick oats)

1 cup nuts, of your choice

1/2 cup raw pumpkin seeds

3 tbsp chia seeds

1/2 cup Forest Super Foods Hemp Seeds

1/4 cup Bee Pollen

1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 cup melted coconut oil

1 tsp himalayan salt

1/2 cup 100% maple syrup

1 tsp vanilla extract

Method:

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees.

In a bowl, add oats, nuts, seeds, cinnamon and coconut flakes. Mix it up.

In another bowl, add the melted coconut oil, salt, vanilla and maple.

Then combine the dry and wet ingredients. Stir till everything is well coated.

Line a baking tray with baking paper, add the granola and press down with your spatula so that it sits evenly in tray. Bake for around 10-12 mins, then flip and flatten again with the spatula and bake for another 10-12 mins.

Remove tray from the oven allow to cool entirely before touching it. The once its completely cooled, break up your super food granola and put into a jar.
