Healthy Superfood Granola-Recipe
This is a super simple delicious granola to make that everyone will love. You can tailor it to your tastes and in cute jars the granola makes a great gift for someone.
4 cups organic rolled oats (not quick oats)
1 cup nuts, of your choice
1/2 cup raw pumpkin seeds
3 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 cup Forest Super Foods hemp seeds
1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup melted coconut oil
1 tsp himalayan salt
1/2 cup 100% maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees.
DRY INGREDIENTS: In a bowl, add oats, nuts, seeds, cinnamon and coconut flakes. Mix it up.
WET INGREDIENTS: In another bowl, add the melted coconut oil, salt, vanilla and maple.
Then combine the dry and wet ingredients. Stir till everything is well coated.
Line a baking tray with baking paper, add the granola and press down with your spatula so that it sits evenly in tray. Bake for around 10-12 mins, then flip and flatten again with the spatula and bake for another 10-12 mins.
Remove tray from the oven allow to cool entirely before touching it. The once its completely cooled, break up and put into a jar.
