I am not aware of that Heather. We always put a tiny bit of black pepper with Turmeric as it helps the body to absorb it :)

Hi there,
A quick question, can children take this? My 8yo has chronic inflammation of adenoids and tonsils. Doesn't get infections but struggles with breathing. Is this suitable for his condition and is he too young?

Hey Yasmin, yes children can take this- its a combination of two foods-amla berry and turmeric, both considered no risk for children, unless of course they have an allergy to these. I'd suggest making a turmeric latte with the contents. Or mixing with some pineapple in a blender, and a touch of apple juice.Its not possible for me to understand what is causing the problem- but taking the turmeric will be beneficial in any case.
