Superfoods vs Supplements

Navigating health and supplements can be a minefield -so much conflicting information. So I thought I would give you a quick overview of the topic of superfoods vs supplements. Natural: these can be derived from a plant or animal form, and require significant processing and refining. When it’s marked as ‘natural’ it’s only required to include a maximum 10% of that component-the rest can be synthetic or fillers 🤯. Nature-identical synthetic: these supplements are entirely created in a laboratory with the same molecular structure as the natural component. But as the name suggests these are synthetic. Strictly synthetic: these are also entirely created in a lab but can have different molecular structure than these vitamins appear naturally in nature. This is problematic because our bodies require a specific size molecule to process SUPERFOODS are wholefoods grown on the earth, that have significant nutritional properties. Intake of nutrients from food based sources results in more bio-availability- that means greater uptake in your body.
