Iced Matcha Latte Recipe

Keep your cool with my go-to iced matcha, which also provides a more gentle alertness compared to your morning coffee. Why? Its caffeine is absorbed more slowly as it is bound to other compounds.

It’s also rich in L-theanine, which has been shown to promote calm and relax the mind.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups milk of choice (my favourite is coconut milk)
  • 1 1/4 cups ice
  • 1 tablespoon Forest Superfoods Matcha Powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • optional sprinkle of cinnammon 

Instructions:

  1. Grab a jar, add ice and milk, then add matcha and maple or honey.
  2. Put lid on jar and shake vigorously till matcha is dissolved.
  3. Enjoy!
