Ingredients:
- 1 cup almond meal
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp Black Maca powder
- 1/4 cup almond or cashew butter
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- Handful of chocolate chips
Method:
Preheat your oven to 170°C (340°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine almond meal, baking soda, cinnamon, and maca powder.
Add almond or cashew butter and maple syrup to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined. The mixture should hold together when pressed.
Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
Divide the dough into four equal portions and roll each into a ball. Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet and flatten them slightly with your fingers or a fork.
Bake for about 12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
